Some people think that it is caused by the large fit gap between the roll neck and the support sleeve of the cot or the poor fit between the support sleeve and the adjustable track surface. Others think that there are quality defects in the cot itself, which affect the normal operation of the cot. Therefore, we have tested and analyzed the mating surfaces and mating dimensions of the support sleeve one by one, and the results are normal. We also put the cots on the lathe and measured the circular runout of the cots and the diameters of several parts with a dial indicator. The measurement results show that the circular runout and diameter tolerance of the cots are within the range of first-class products. In this way, it seems that there is no problem with the component size and assembly size of the polishing machine and this cot.
So what is the reason for the rubber roller running jump? We installed a worn and scrapped old cot on the polishing machine for trial operation. As a result, the old cot operated smoothly without large runout, which shows that the main reason for the large runout in the operation of the new cot is still the quality defects of the cot itself. On this basis, we conducted in-depth understanding and analysis, and finally judged that the main reason for the runout of the new cot in operation was the mass eccentricity of the cot. If the mass eccentricity of the cot is not eliminated in the roll making, the unbalanced force generated in the operation will certainly arouse the jumping of the cot. Taking formal manufacturing process and quality control, we should take measures such as static balance or dynamic balance to ensure that the cots do not have quality eccentricity defects, so that they will not jump due to imbalance in use.
